--- Climbing and Snowboarding Mt.Fuji( 富士) - May 2003 ---
4 Snowboarders
climbed Japan's highest and most legendary mountain, Mt.Fuji (3776 m),
in order to ride down in
excellent sunny spring conditions with almost no wind !
First a good 5 hours hike on the "Fujinomiya trail", starting above the car park
at the 5th station (2400m) to get to the top.
Then after some sightseeing at the summit followed a 45 minutes continious ride through
the clouds down to the 5th stn.
